Position Summary
The Volunteer and Donor Engagement Manager (Manager) supervises three SPIN programs – Donors, Volunteers, and our Street Service Programs. The Manager oversees donor relations and stewardship programs, promoting interaction with and recognition of donors at all levels. They leverage SPIN’s existing volunteer network and cultivate new relationships to improve and expand our volunteer services and outreach, helping support our mission. In addition, the Manager supports the Executive Director with internal processes, management and tracking related to donor and volunteer programs and activities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Implement and expand an effective donor program that identifies, cultivates, and stewards a growing donor community to support our development efforts
- Organize and support all fundraising and special event efforts including Help Them Home online fundraising campaign, annual gala, holiday gift program and annual year-end appeal
- Organize and oversee volunteer efforts including our Street Service lunch program, back to school backpacks, food drives, and other volunteer activities
- Input, track and report on all monetary and in-kind donation in DonorSnap (web-based donor tracking database) and complete monthly reconciliations and reports as needed
- Implement a variety of marketing and promotional strategies including website updates, social media posts and email outreach
- Ensure timely donor and volunteer communications and recognition
- Represent SPIN at volunteer events and community meetings
- Assist Grant Writer in identifying and completing grant applications for additional funding opportunities

Qualifications
- 3- 5 years of experience in nonprofit donor development, event planning, volunteer management or communications/public relations
- Bachelor's degree highly beneficial
- Computer proficiency required especially in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), donor databases/CRM and other web-based applications
- Ability to think and plan strategically to accomplish goals and objectives
- Excellent interpersonal skills, high-level organizational skills and a high level of emotional intelligence
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to details

Salary : $68,000 - $85,000
