MSAD 41 is seeking a Co-Principal for grades 5-12. The Co-Principal is responsible for overseeing the emotional well-being, student conduct, and safety of students and staff in grades 5-12. This role collaborates with the Co-Principal focused on academics to foster a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment. MSAD #41 is located in beautiful Piscataquis County and has a student population of approximately 600 students over three schools: Milo Elementary School (PK-2), Brownville Elementary School (3-4), and Penquis Valley Middle High School (5-12). This is a full-time position beginning July 1, 2025.

- Cultivate a positive school climate prioritizing mental health and emotional well-being.
- Implement and oversee social-emotional learning (SEL) programs.
- Develop and manage a fair, restorative, and proactive student discipline system.
- Lead behavioral intervention strategies and conflict resolution programs.
- Ensure equitable enforcement of policies emphasizing restorative practices.
- Lead schoolwide safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and crisis intervention plans.
- Collaborate with school security, staff, and local agencies to maintain a secure environment.
- Stay informed on best practices in school safety and bullying prevention.
- Establish clear communication channels for reporting and addressing safety concerns.
