MSAD 41 is seeking a Co-Principal for grades 5-12. The Co-Principal is responsible for providing academic and instructional leadership that promotes high achievement for all students by supporting best teaching practices, curriculum development, and staff professional growth. This role collaborates with the Co-Principal focused on social-emotional well-being to cultivate a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment. MSAD #41 is located in beautiful Piscataquis County and has a student population of approximately 600 students over three schools: Milo Elementary School (PK-2), Brownville Elementary School (3-4), and Penquis Valley Middle High School (5-12). This is a full-time position beginning July 1, 2025.

Successful Candidates Will Demonstrate Evidence Of The Following
- Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure alignment with state and district standards.
- Provide leadership in the development of differentiated instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Plan and facilitate professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance instructional practices.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to teachers and staff.
- Supervise and evaluate staff using the district’s professional growth and evaluation framework.
- Implement academic intervention programs to support struggling students.
- Develop strategies to enhance student engagement, motivation, and overall academic success.
- Monitor and support special education programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Foster a collaborative environment among students, staff, and families.
- Communicate academic goals and progress effectively with parents and stakeholders.
- Build partnerships with external organizations to enhance student learning opportunities.
