Come join our team of collaborative educators!
This position is responsible for teaching students with special educational needs in a team environment. Students are in regular and special education classrooms for parts of their day. Educational technicians are a critical part of this team and support students in all settings as needed.
The Successful Candidate Will Be Able To
Jefferson Village School is a K-8 community school located on the north shores of Damariscotta Lake. We are 30 minutes from Augusta, Rockland, and the Pemaquid Region. JVS has a strong community of support and a very professional, committed staff that maintains high expectations for our community of learners.

- Create and implement IEPs
- Execute positive behavior support plans
- Collect behavioral and academic data
- Complete required paperwork in a timely manner
- Supervise educational technicians
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and adapt curriculum
- Provide specially designed instruction to students in the core curriculum when needed
- Certified in Safety Care preferred
