Servomex are excited to be creating a new role based out of our US Technical Center in Woburn, MA for an IT Support Engineer. Our new colleague will provide on-site and remote support to Users as part of a global IT Team. Reporting to the Global IT team in the UK, the successful candidate will have a great flair to communicate ideas and stay abreast of new technologies for evolution. Additionally, they will be responsible for administering and delivering high quality infrastructure solutions, which align to business goals and objectives - in both a technical and operational capacity.

About the Opportunity :
- Ticket logging / updating (incidents / requests) - taking ownership of end user faults and bring them to a successful resolution.
- Provide onsite IT support to end-users at our US office locations.
- Provide remote support to users on the Global ServiceDesk with technical issues when raised and bring them to a successful resolution.
- Maintaining, updating, and improving a single source of truth for our asset and Inventory management system.
- User support : Windows OS, MS Office suite, Linux, 3rd party applications, network printing.
- Document processes and solutions to support the business, and inter-department projects.
- User and access administration in Active Directory, SAP, O365, Azure.
- Design, build, document, monitor and operate infrastructure to support business processes, whilst adhering to security best practices.
- Install, upgrade, maintain software for end user and infrastructure assets (PCs, Servers, Hypervisors, SAN(s), NAS(s), IoT, IIoT).
- Identify required software / hardware for EOL, upgrades and evolution of estate.
- Design, test, operate and optimise the desktop environment.
- Support core infrastructure : LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VoIP, IoT, IIoT.
- Research, identify, and purchase software / hardware as required.
- Maintain and administer backup technologies and operations (cloud and on-prem); virtualisation, disk, proxy, tape, disaster recovery.

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday (flexible start times). 40-hour week - hybrid working arrangement available.
Salary : $80,000 to $90,000 : Servomex considers several factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
