Overview
We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services to meet the company's operational needs efficiently.
Duties
- Manage the procurement process from identifying suppliers to negotiating contracts
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine procurement needs
- Analyze market trends and conditions to ensure cost-effective purchases
- Utilize supply chain management tools such as MRP for effective planning
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
- Monitor inventory levels and participate in production planning
- Work with Oracle EBS or similar systems for procurement management
Experience
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, and contract management
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers
- Knowledge of logistics and fabricating processes is a plus
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $37.43 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
