Job Description
- Manage client national account program contract review, negotiations, and drafting.
- Ensure timely updates and filings of franchise registrations with respective states.
- Verify compliance with FDD requirements, prepare and update FDDs for distribution.
- Keep in-house materials and training current regarding franchise disclosure laws, requirements, and changes.
- Validate compliance with franchise legal and regulatory matters, including state relationship laws.
Requirements
- Law degree and license in Tennessee or covered under state license reciprocity.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Five years of franchise law experience with a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Negotiation experience with national accounts contracts with large commercial or insurance carrier parties.
