Reconstruction Project Manager Job Description
SERVPRO of East York/Western Lancaster County is seeking a skilled Reconstruction Project Manager to oversee all aspects of assigned reconstruction projects and associated subcontractors.
This front-line management position leads their team to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scope Development: Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates utilizing computer hardware and proprietary software.
- Negotiation: Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate.
- Project Management: Manage all aspects of reconstruction projects from initiation to completion.
- Initial Assessment: Conduct initial assessments of project sites to determine scope, requirements, and timelines.
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to these plans throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals and expectations.
- Procurement: Procure necessary materials, equipment, and subcontractors for project execution.
- Work Oversight: Oversee the reconstruction work, including scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Financial Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, expenses, and change orders to ensure profitability and cost control.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.
- Compliance: Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Document project progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience Management: Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews.
- Priority Response: Provide priority response to potential customers.
Position Requirements:
- Licensure: Valid driver's license.
- Education: High school diploma/GED; Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of management and/or supervisory experience; at least 3 years of industry experience.
- Certification: IICRC certification a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Skills/Abilities: Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics); ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects; ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
- Bonus: Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
