Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Response: Quickly respond to water damage emergencies, including floods, leaks, and other water-related disasters.
- Damage Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of water damage to determine the extent and develop effective restoration plans.
- Restoration Procedures: Execute water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and sanitization using state-of-the-art equipment and methods.
- Material Removal: Safely remove damaged materials like carpeting, drywall, and flooring to facilitate restoration.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of the entire restoration process, from initial assessments to final progress reports.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with property owners, insurance adjusters, and other relevant parties.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in water damage restoration preferred.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in water damage restoration, including water extraction, drying, and mitigation techniques.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with industry-standard equipment and tools, such as water extractors, dehumidifiers, air movers, and moisture meters.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with property owners, insurance adjusters, and team members.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time position with standard hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, along with on-call responsibilities. During periods of high demand, extended hours and additional workdays may be necessary to meet customer needs. This role often requires working more than 8 hours a day, including some evenings and weekends. A weekend on-call bonus, premium pay for extended hours, and additional compensation for high-volume or "storm mode" periods are provided. Travel is primarily local, though occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
