Responsibilities:
- Assess damage and create detailed estimates for construction, restoration, and renovation projects.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and insurance companies to gather necessary information.
- Use estimating software and tools to prepare precise and comprehensive bids for projects.
- Review contracts, specifications, and other documentation to ensure accurate estimates.
- Stay up to date on local building codes, construction costs, and industry trends.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Help with project scheduling and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably in restoration or construction industries.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Experience with estimating software (Xactimate) is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
