Position Summary
DRS Network & Imaging Systems in Cypress, CA is part of the Electro-Optical and Infrared Systems Group of Leonardo DRS and has over 30 years of experience in designing and developing electro-optical / infrared systems. We are seeking a Senior Technical Intern to join the company to support engineering staff by performing research, design support, documentation, engineering calculations, testing and verification, and other related tasks as skills allow. They will work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various engineering assignments. The candidate must be a well-organized self-starter, able to work in a team environment, have good communication and technical skills, and able to professionally interact with others.
Basic Qualifications and Required Skills
- Pursuing undergraduate or Master's in Physics or an Engineering curriculum, 3rd Year status minimum
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university and maintain a 3.3or higher GPA
- Be available to work part-time (
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems

The expected pay scale for this position is $20.27 / hour - $27.87 / hour. Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly.
