About the Role
As Creative Director, you will lead the creative vision for Sesayé, ensuring our brand stands out in an oversaturated space. You will work closely with our Editor-in-Chief and Brand Marketing Director to develop innovative content strategies, oversee design elements, and maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic across all platforms. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in defining the future of Sesayé and bringing our brand ethos to life. While this is currently an unpaid position, it comes with a permanent spot on our founding team, meaning you’ll be an integral part of Sesayè’s future growth and success.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute the creative direction for Sesayé across all visual and editorial platforms.
- Oversee branding, photography, design, and overall storytelling to ensure consistency and innovation.
- Collaborate with our Editor-in-Chief to conceptualize and produce high-quality content, including print and digital materials.
- Lead creative campaigns for product launches, social media, and marketing initiatives.
- Direct and mentor a growing creative team, fostering a culture of originality and excellence.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging aesthetics, and cultural moments to keep Sesayé at the forefront of fashion and design.
- Manage creative budgets, timelines, and external partnerships (e.g., photographers, designers, illustrators).

- Experienced in branding, art direction, and content creation, with a portfolio that reflects a refined and innovative aesthetic.
- Adept at leading a creative team and working cross-functionally with marketing and editorial teams.
- A strategic thinker who understands brand positioning and audience engagement.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, photography direction, and digital content strategy.
- Passionate about fashion, lifestyle, and cultural narratives, with an eye for emerging trends.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with evolving priorities.
