Senior Data Analyst (Onsite - Contract role)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing and interpreting large datasets to uncover valuable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product owners, and analysts, to ensure data quality and deliver actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth data analysis, including traceability, data validation, and requirements analysis.
- Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Design, implement, and maintain data quality checks and validation procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data insights.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations using tools like Power BI to communicate findings effectively.
- Perform root cause analysis of data anomalies and identify areas for improvement in data processes.
- Work closely with data engineers to ensure data pipelines are efficient and reliable.
- Participate in agile development methodologies using tools like Jira.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of data-driven decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience as a Data Analyst with a proven track record of success.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Expertise in data validation, quality assurance, and data quality management.
- In-depth understanding of supply chain operations, particularly with a focus on device-side data structures.
- Experience with ETL processes, data transformation, and validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be willing to relocate to Seattle, WA from Day 1 if not currently local.
