SESLOC Credit Union is seeking a BSA Officer.
Oversee and manage SESLOC's BSA/AML/OFAC Program. Ensure member BSA reviews and investigations are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, which includes the analysis and monitoring of accounts to identify and control against prohibited account activity. Oversee, further develop, and manage SESLOC's BSA Member Risk program. Produce the annual BSA Risk Assessment. Ensure that the process to investigate in response to alerting activity, including the process to determine a file or no file action regarding completing Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) functions effectively. Oversee, manage and execute Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) monitoring, including research preparation, case investigations, and risk-based reviews. Oversee and manage the development and implementation of internal controls pertaining to the credit union's Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering Program, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Customer Identification Program (CIP) Program. Oversee and manage SESLOC's BSA software solutions. Manage BSA staff and ensure that they are performing their duties in executing SESLOC's BSA/AML/OFAC Program. Work with senior management to integrate BSA risk assessment and reporting into the overall Enterprise Risk Management Program.
Desired Experience: Five to eight years' progressively responsible BSA experience, with strong experience in managing AML investigations and/or BSA/AML program management, including analyzing, monitoring, and reporting with decision making authority. CAMS, CFE, or equivalent or willingness to obtain certification within the first year of employment. Advanced knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control requirements.
