Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Crew Leader to oversee projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete and attention to detail. This role requires a valid driver's license (CDL is a plus), ability to run laser, and experience in operating equipment . As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Lead workers on-site, providing guidance and support throughout the project.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and according to project specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required by the project
- Operate hand tools and equipment effectively to complete various construction assignments.
- Restore and maintain construction sites, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
- Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and project managers to coordinate efforts and resolve any issues that arise.
Experience
- Proven experience in concrete work with the ability to form, pour, finish, and seal.
- Knowledge of flatwork including color and stamping.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is ideal (bobcat, mini excavator, etc).
- Ability to read blueprints or job plans accurately is required for effective project execution.
- Experience in performing heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments is necessary.
Starting pay is variable based upon experience and skills. Work is performed in Findlay and surrounding areas. Daily work hours are variable based upon project needs and weather.
