What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recertification Processor position at Seton Manor?
Seton Manor, a senior residential community located in Hampton, VA, is currently recruiting a highly motivated & experienced individual to assist in the day-to-day operations, work as an integral part of a team of employees and enhance the lives of the residents. The candidate must possess good customer service and technical skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment. Property Management is a fast-paced, highly regulated, customer service focused environment. Ability to multi-task and make sound decisions quickly is essential. Logical thought process, good business sense and strong interpersonal skills are important. Must be able to work independently.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
- Schedule resident recertification interviews
- Processing initial, annual and interim recertification’s, in addition to retroactive rent calculations while conforming to all regulations and guidelines.
- Calculating rents for annual and interim recertification, identifying households with income reporting discrepancies and making rent adjustments, reviewing applicant files and determining eligibility.
- Maintain resident files in accordance with company policy
- Maintain property waiting list
- Coordinate semi-annual apartment inspections
- Assist Property Manager with other tasks, including collection of rent, posting rents, and making daily bank deposits
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize;
- Ability to produce high performance in a busy, multi-task work environment;
- Superior time management and organization skills;
- High level of integrity, ethics and honesty;
- Proficiency with OneSite property management software desirable.
