In this role, you will assist physicians and registered nurses in caring for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and disinfecting endoscopic and accessory equipment, implementing and evaluating patient care, and managing assigned tasks and supplies.
To be successful in this position, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience as an Endoscopy Tech/Surgical Tech. A GI Technical Specialist certificate from the Society of Gastroenterology Nurse and Associates, Inc. is also preferred.
