- Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more.
Responsibilities
- The Quality Coordinator RN focuses on improving the patient experience, reducing hospital readmissions, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
- The role involves monthly data abstraction for assigned accreditation programs, submitting data to national databases, managing the hospital’s readmission platform, and rounding on high-risk readmission patients before discharge.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
RN in the state of Texas.
3 years of clinical nursing experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
Preferred Job Requirements:
BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
Previous experience in quality management, patient safety, or regulatory compliance in a healthcare setting.
Experience with quality improvement projects in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and data management systems.
Familiarity with data abstraction for accreditation programs and national databases.
Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., JCAHO, CMS).
