Summary: The plumber is responsible for the layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of various structures and fixtures in residential buildings. This role will install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems, including, but not limited to: Hot water tanks, toilets, sinks, faucets, showers, tubs, etc.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
• Complete redline drawings.
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
• Install pipes and fixtures.
• Inspect and test installed pipe systems and pipelines.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems.
• Ability to sweat copper plumbing systems.
• Ability to install and repair gas, water and other piping.
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
• Other duties as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess a valid plumber's license as required by the state and/or jurisdiction where the work is performed.
• Proven experience as a licensed plumber.
• Hands-on experience in working with plumbing materials and components.
• Punchlist experience.
• Completion of OSHA 10 or 30, or ability to complete.
• Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in plumbing.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel.

• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, tape measures etc.).
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• A willingness to always follow safety guidelines.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Pay & Benefits

• Pay range: $24 - $30 per hour.
• Actual pay depends on education, experience, and performance.
• Benefits include dental, vision, paid holidays, sick time.
  
  

Work Conditions

This is a fully on-site role at the project location(s). Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine. Involves movement between floors, and properties to facilitate work.
