About the Role:
As a Direct Support Professional II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities. This includes assisting with daily living tasks, supporting individuals in developing independent living skills, and communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements:
- Certification as a MAP (Mental Health Associate Program) certified Support Advocate is an asset
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
