Job Summary
We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Residential Counselors at the Crotched Mountain School & Village. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and residential needs of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Aligning with IEP and ILP Plans: Collaborate with the student education and residential service teams to ensure consistency in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Intervention Live Plans (ILPs).
- Supporting Daily Routines: Assist residents with activities of daily living through daily routines and scheduled programs.
- Data Collection and Documentation: Complete required record keeping, data collection, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Age and Education: Be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Possess one of the following:
- Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience (3000 hours)
- Associates Degree or higher with a minimum of 12 credits in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Education, Criminal Justice, Nursing, etc)
- Seven years of parenting
- Prior Experience: Two years of experience in the health and human services field is strongly preferred.
