About the Role
The Director will lead a team of two Associate Directors and one support staff member, providing ongoing student and family support while promoting and communicating the Severn experience to colleges and universities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee college counselors visiting campuses, maintaining memberships in NACAC and PCACAC, attending conferences, and teaching seminars on college decision-making processes
- Provide student and family support throughout the college process
- Promote and communicate the Severn experience to colleges and universities
Requirements
- Strong communication, organizational, and counseling skills
- Ability to contribute to extracurricular life at an independent school

- Founded in 1914 as a coeducational PS-12 independent school with 915 students
- Located on two campuses in the Washington-Baltimore-Annapolis triangle
- Upper School enrolls 449 students, including members of the Cum Laude Society
