As we continue to grow, we seek a dynamic and experienced Quality Assurance and ERP Process Specialist to join our team.

Position Overview

The Quality Assurance and ERP Process Specialist will oversee essential quality assurance activities while managing the receipt, closeout, inventory utilization, and production data within our ERP system. This mid-level role is critical in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance (QA):
    • Conduct routine inspections and audits of production processes, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards (FDA, HACCP, etc.).
    • Monitor and document product quality at various production stages.
    • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
    • Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality documentation.
    • Conduct employee training on quality standards, safety, and sanitation practices.
    • Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to ensure consistent adherence to food safety protocols.
    • Serve as SQF Practitioner and PCQI for the facility.
    • Perform yearly re-assessment of all HACCP Plans as required by FSMA and USDA
    • Coordinate Mock Recalls
    • Monitor and document product quality at various production stages.
    • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
    • Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality documentation.
    • Conduct employee training on quality standards, safety, and sanitation practices.
    • Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to ensure consistent adherence to food safety protocols.
    • Responsible for Quality-related customer complaint responses.
    • Responsible for maintaining a self-audit program.
    • Responsible for creating any additional Excel forms for records.

  • ERP System Management
    • Accurately manage work orders in the ERP system.
    • Monitor and manage inventory utilization, ensuring accurate material receipt, material usage/consumption, and reporting within the ERP System.
    • Review and close out work orders, ensuring all production data is complete and accurate.
    • Analyze production data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement
    • Work closely with the production team to address discrepancies or issues in the ERP system, including physical inventory and cycle counting.
    • Assist in maintaining system data integrity and suggest process improvements for system efficiency.
Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in food science, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance, ERP system management, or related roles, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Netsuite or similar ERP systems is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (HACCP, GMPs, FDA compliance).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems.

Compensation details: 30-35 Hourly Wage
