Overview
REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead program management for homes supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, recruiting, retention, staffing, training, safety, financial management, and maintenance of the physical environment.
- Direct program staff members, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
- Implement program planning and ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services or an associate degree in a field related to human services with two years of experience providing direct care services.
- Diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution with three years of experience providing direct care services.
- A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities.
- Four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services under supervision.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
