Job Description
As a Registered Nurse - Consultant- Traveling, you will be responsible for coordinating client discharges, conducting intake assessments of new clients, auditing in-home medications, and managing new medication orders. You will also train staff on new diagnoses and ensure effective communication with staff, individuals served, and families.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing)
- One year of skilled nursing experience preferred
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
- Additional certifications as required by state licensing regulations, such as CPR/FA and HIV/AIDS certification, BBP, and ACT training
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, individuals served, and families
