Summary: In Green Valley Ranch we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher to join our diverse and inclusive preschool program. Responsibilities:
- Provide nurturing care and create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of each child.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
- Recognize and respect the unique backgrounds, cultures, and identities of each child and family, incorporating diversity and inclusion into all aspects of the program.
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the individual needs and abilities of each child, including those with special needs or English language learners.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating with families regularly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that supports learning and exploration.
- Follow health and safety protocols, including proper hygiene practices, supervision, and emergency procedures.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay informed about best practices in early childhood education, diversity, and inclusion.
- Collaborate with other staff members and administrators to contribute to the overall success of the preschool program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for infants and toddlers, including understanding of infant/toddler development milestones.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Clearance of background check and TB test.
