Infant/Toddler Teacher in Green Valley Ranch

Summary: In Green Valley Ranch we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher to join our diverse and inclusive preschool program. Responsibilities:

• Provide nurturing care and create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of each child.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
• Recognize and respect the unique backgrounds, cultures, and identities of each child and family, incorporating diversity and inclusion into all aspects of the program.
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the individual needs and abilities of each child, including those with special needs or English language learners.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating with families regularly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that supports learning and exploration.
• Follow health and safety protocols, including proper hygiene practices, supervision, and emergency procedures.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay informed about best practices in early childhood education, diversity, and inclusion.
• Collaborate with other staff members and administrators to contribute to the overall success of the preschool program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a preschool or childcare setting.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for infants and toddlers, including understanding of infant/toddler development milestones.
• Strong understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Clearance of background check and TB test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.29 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
