Job Summary
We are seeking an additional skilled Baker to join our team. The Baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods and desserts in accordance with traditional and modern recipes. Cookies and brownies are the main items for this role. Cake and other batters possible if skillset is there. Increased hours is also a possibility with skill set and business needs. MUST HAVE prior baking experience in a commercial kitchen.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a range of cookies, brownies, and other baked goods
- Restock ingredients and supplies
- Manage the ovens, rotating product to be baked and accurate time keeping
- Package finished products for display, storage, or sale
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and follow cleaning practices
- Assist with inventory management
Requirements
- Previous experience as a paid commercial setting Baker
- Knowledge of baking techniques and the ability to follow recipes accurately
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent team working environment skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for full shift length
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Experience in cake decorating or any finishing work is a plus and will offer advancement with cross training
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
