Job Brief
We are in search of a skilled ERP Developer to join our team.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning systems that streamline and improve our manufacturing business processes.
Your duties will include understanding the unique needs of the company, designing and customizing the ERP software to meet those needs, and supporting the system after implementation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of programming languages such as RPG, SQL queries, and ERP software like MAPICS, XA, and Deacom.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand business needs and processes to align the ERP system with them.
- Develop and customize the ERP software to improve its performance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the system meets business needs.
- Integrate ERP software modules with software applications.
- Provide technical support and training to users.
- Manage ERP security and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Prepare and present regular reports on ERP performance and improvements.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in ERP development.
- Develop and maintain system documentation for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an ERP developer or a role in ERP implementation.
- Excellent knowledge of at least one ERP software (MAPICS, XA, Deacom, etc.).
- Experience in software development and programming languages such as RPG, Java, or .NET.
- Knowledge of databases and exceptional experience with SQL queries.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Familiarity with ERP standards and best practices.
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
