We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting various HR functions, including payroll management, accounts payable, and compliance with governmental accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial software and accounting principles, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Oversee accounts payable functions, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Utilize financial software and accounting systems such as PeopleSoft and Kronos for efficient HR operations.
- Assist in governmental accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support tax-related processes by maintaining accurate records and facilitating reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
- Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, and training.
Experience
- Proven experience in a human resources or administrative role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with financial software and accounting practices is essential; experience with PeopleSoft, Kronos, or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and tax regulations is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- Attention to detail is critical for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
