4. Serving as a technical resource for the unit, investigating and resolving analytical testing problems and recommending corrective actions.
5. Ensuring compliance with departmental policies, federal, state, and local regulations.
6. Reviewing requests for validity checks and recommending courses of action.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry or an Associate's degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Minimum five years' clinical experience with two years in the current department.
• Ability to establish work priorities, handle multiple procedures simultaneously, and troubleshoot instruments and other issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with other departments and clients.
