Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals and long-term care facilities. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Your responsibilities will include maintaining medical records and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient service.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs and other health indicators.
- Provide medication administration under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient to ensure continuity of care.
- Support patients in behavioral health settings by providing compassionate care and assistance.
- Collaborate with nursing staff in a Level II Trauma Center environment to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in patient areas, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote optimal patient service.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospital medicine or long-term care settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical records systems is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
