Our company is seeking a Clerical Assistant who is responsible for providing essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of departmental functions. Responsibilities include maintaining records, processing data, managing office equipment, and performing various tasks to support operational efficiency. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. The positions hours are 10am - 6pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and maintain usage records, project usage, and report shortages.
- Utilize office appliances such as photocopiers, printers, and computers for tasks including word processing and spreadsheet creation.
- Run and print load/tray flags.
- Enter data accurately into relevant systems (Technique) or databases.
- Assist in maintaining office efficiency and performing general clerical tasks.
- Ensure high-quality and timely execution of assigned duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and working knowledge of Windows and MS Office.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Attention to detail with the ability to read and understand shipping and related documents.
- Above-average interpersonal and telephone skills.
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Demonstrated teamwork, customer focus, and reliability.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of clerical experience required.
- Familiarity with operating company computer systems and documentation processes.
