This role is responsible for supporting the operations of our shared services accounting department by performing various accounting, administrative, and clerical tasks. Support areas will include accounts receivable, accounts payable, filing, database updating, and paperwork processing and filing. This role helps maintain our goal of delivering consistently efficient and accurate services. The role also acts as a backup to various tasks within the department.
Responsibilities :
- Process daily cash receipts for four companies.
- Responsible for accumulating and reconciling travel receipts to travel credit card.
- Maintain and order department supplies.
- Complete quarterly employee accounts receivable invoicing.
- Assist billing staff with various tasks including project updates, expense backup, invoice scanning and filing.
- Maintain reimbursable copies filing cabinet.
- Filing for all accounts payable and accounts receivable documents for four companies.
- General spreadsheet preparation and maintenance.
- Communicates effectively with diligent follow-up.
- Assist with A / R monitoring and collection efforts for past due accounts.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Accounting Manager and / or VP of Finance.
