Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a PowerBI/AWS Integration Developer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in Rockville, MD.
This position is hybrid (2 days/onsite)
Responsibilities:
The contactor will maintain Power BI Dashboard/Reports and integrations built using AWS Technologies. Further, over time will be expected to design, develop, validate, and implement Financial Planning models.
" Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
" Develop and provide design and data model documentation.
" Design and build integrations from Workday Adaptive to Power BI.
" Design and build custom integrations to send data to external system(s).
" Conduct unit and integration tests.
" Manage system integrations within the architecture of Workday Adaptive and Power BI systems.
" Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and generate visually appealing and insightful reports.
" Provide support for incident management and daily monitoring of integrations.
" Perform routine break/fix support, regression testing and support the inbound/outbound interfaces.
" Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, compose clear documentation and problem resolution.
" Ensure integrations function as designed based on functional and technical requirements.
" Consult with business and technical teams about interface design and maintenance; collaborate on design decisions.
" Collaborate with Product Management and Quality Assurance teams to resolve issues in preparation for UAT.
" Understand and follow data governance and ensure attention to data quality.
" Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
" Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards.
Required Skills:
" A bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
" Minimum of 4-5 years of experience implementing AWS Technologies and Power BI Reporting.
" Possesses analytical skills.
" Detailed oriented.
" Ability to gather requirement from users/stakeholders.
" Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
" Expert in SQL queries.
" Experience in REST API, SOAP API, API Authentication
" Proficient in at least Java and JavaScript
" Experienced in AWS technologies such as AWS Storage (S3), AWS Postgres, ESMP, AWS Step Functions, AWS Lambda Functions, CICD Pipelines using Jenkins.
" Experience using excel, formulas, and pivot tables.
" Ability to unit test the feature(s).
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
" Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions.
" Willingness to learn new niche tools.
" Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
