POSITION SUMMARY Under minimal supervision, the Talent Acquisition Specialist assists management in evaluating, developing and implementing strategies for recruitment. Works alongside the Talent Acquisition Manager for aligning recruitment objectives in designated business units and partnering with leadership to meet the needs of the organization. Responsible for sourcing candidates and screening candidates for designated business units. Acts as a point of contact for those outside of the organization to build professional relationships. Utilizes various methods to actively recruit and network with candidates. Identify, schedule, and attend networking events to include but not limited to career fairs, colleges, local schools. Accurately calculate salary information based off of SGMC pay practices and procedures. Coordinate with Hiring Managers for the hiring and onboarding of candidates.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, or related field or equivalent years of experience preferred. Minimum of three (3) years in human resources or related management preferred. One (1) year of recruitment or sales experience preferred. Computer experience in Windows, word processing, and spreadsheet preferred. Prefer Microsoft. Handles multiple priorities, exhibits independent discretion, makes decisions under pressure, manages stress appropriately, and works well with others. Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of personnel at all levels. Handle tasks quickly and efficiently while using critical thinking skills.

- Substantial sitting and walking. Moderate standing. Moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds). At times may be subject to high levels of stress, managing competing priorities, and peaks and valleys in workload. Requires considerable mental effort and logical thought processing. Requires occasional long distance driving.
