Small Girls PR is growing and we are looking for a Senior Account Executive to support the day-to-day earned media efforts and campaign work for our Olay team!
There is no one-size-fits-all for an SGPR client which means your career will be further enriched with meaningful and diversified experience. We've handled mergers for GE, announced Esusu as one of the first Black-owned tech unicorns, created a closet calculator to see how recycled clothing impacts the environment with thredUP, launched the now TikTok viral Olay Super Serum and catapulted Olay’s New Cleansing Melts to the most awarded cleanser in the industry.
With 4 years of experience, we’re looking for someone who has developed strong media relationships and has a track record of success securing meaningful placements. This role will provide leadership for campaign based pitching, securing your own placements as well as mentoring team members AC - AE on their pitching efforts : personalized pitch writing, pivoting subject lines, creating and expanding target lists, etc.
This role will also be the client communications point person for our campaigns, updating clients on the status of our work, securing client feedback and approvals, and keeping the client abreast of pitching and coverage status. The role will also support senior staff on higher-level campaign projects : contribute original creative ideas, support strategy development, write messaging documents, and coordinate with an inter-agency team. Campaigns have a dual emphasis on mission-driven, DEI work as well as ingredients-driven product storytelling.
Note : Small Girls PR is currently in the office on a hybrid basis, working two days a week in the office.

How you’ll make an impact :
- This role will give you a rare opportunity to help lead the creative PR efforts for a globally recognized beauty brand
- Work along-side client leads to contribute ideas towards viral campaign moments, and then bring them to life
- Craft creative pitch angles that position clients uniquely from their competitor set and yield 20 - 100 placements per campaign idea
- Write pitches, fact sheets, media briefs, press releases and more with ease to provide media everything they need to garner killer coverage
- Establish and maintain warm relationships with consumer media in print, digital, podcast, and broadcast, leading to regular placements as well as feature stories. Help us develop strategies and relationships to earn placements in social media channels, like Hypebeast’s TikTok
- Mentor our strong and capable junior team, helping them flourish into future leaders
