Responsibilities
The Head of Origination, Payment & Cash Management (PCM) APAC, is in charge of defining, leading and monitoring commercial pushes requiring expertise and / or global / regional coordination to ensure the development of PCM activities, in the required conditions of risk and cost control, quality of service and in line with the development of Global Transaction & Payment Services (GTPS) activities.
Main responsibilities :
- Participates within the PCM Executive Committees (EXCO) in the definition of the business line strategy and its implementation plan, in line with the GTPS client strategy.
- Participates in the development of a Net Banking Income (NBI) / Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) trajectory for the business line, in association with the Head of GTPS APAC, as part of the strategic and budgetary reviews.
- Defines, organizes, and coordinates with all specialized front offices the push business requiring expertise and / or global / regional coordination (Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Shift, Regulatory, Non-Bank Financial Institution (NBFI), Société Generale Factoring (SGF), etc.) in the required conditions of profitability, security and risk management, and supports GTPS commercial effort.
- Ensures good communication / coordination with the Head of Desk concerning the modalities of animation of commercial pushes.
- Organizes the provision of training and information necessary for the specialized front offices to carry out their mission properly.
- Supports the specialized front officers in client pitches for 'complex' subjects (expertise and / or global / regional coordination) and Request for Proposal (RFP)s.
- Promotes synergies within GTPS and with the structured finance business lines of Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) / Global Markets (MARK) / Retail Banking (SGRF), etc.
- Ensures with the Head of GTPS APAC that the commercial set-up is suitable (size, level of competence, performance).
- Co-assures with the Solutions teams that the deployed offer is well promoted and sold.
- Participates in the management of the performance of the Business Line's value chains and in the proper appropriation by the specialized front officers of the changes made to these chains to improve their performance.
- Responsible for ensuring that specialized front officers propose solutions that the value chain is able to handle under the right conditions of risk and cost control.
- Consulted by the Head of Desk to give his / her opinion in the event of transactions with derogations from the defined price / profitability / risk framework.
- Contributes to the evolution of the offer and supports the areas of expertise (Structured Trade / Solutions / Client Support Service / Transformation Teams) on the constitution of business cases about the required developments (Change the Bank (CTB) / people / etc.).
- Contributes to the analysis of the Business Line's performance and the development of monthly / quarterly / annual projections; is a source of proposals for the enrichment of the elements of management of the activity.
