Are you passionate about fostering a nurturing and dynamic learning environment for young children? Join our team at Shaare Torah Early Childhood Center, located in the Kentlands/Lakelands neighborhood of Gaithersburg, MD, where we prioritize collaboration, creativity, and child-centered learning. We are looking for both full-time and part-time Preschool Teachers to help guide our youngest learners in a supportive and inclusive setting. Preference will be given to candidates who are available to work full-time. Positions are set to start in June or August 2025.
- Child Development: Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social-emotional growth.
- Classroom Engagement & Lesson Planning: Develop and implement creative, engaging lesson plans that align with our emergent curriculum and inquiry-based learning philosophy.
- Documentation & Communication: Keep accurate records of children's progress and communicate regularly with parents to ensure a positive and collaborative relationship.
- Kindergarten Readiness: Support the development of essential skills to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten.
- Skills & Attributes:

- Dedication to inclusive education, including children from all backgrounds, developmental differences, and special needs.
- Strong communication skills to engage with both children and parents effectively.
- Experience: Prior teaching experience in early childhood education is required.
- Education: Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. A 90-hour certification in Early Childhood Education is preferred but not required.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
