Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area remains clean and organized, providing an exceptional experience for our guests. You will work closely with servers and kitchen staff to maintain the flow of service, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to hospitality.
Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals.
- Reset tables with appropriate utensils, glassware, and napkins for the next guests.
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Help with the organization of dining supplies and equipment in the kitchen.
- Support catering events by setting up and breaking down service areas as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including bussing and cleaning procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry.
