The restaurant cashier is responsible for interacting with customers and accepting payment for products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Take Customer orders at the counter or by phone.
- Receive payments and present change to customers as needed.
- Pack orders as needed.
- Functions as a host.
- Receive food check from servers or guest.
- Manage the register including all credit cards and cash transactions.
- Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period.
Qualifications:
Qualifications for Hostess require obtaining Food Handlers, must be 16 year of age or older. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
