Objective

The Financial and Contracts Manager will play a critical role in steering our company's financial directives and managing contracts related to construction projects and bids. This position is integral to our operations, involving:

• Providing detailed financial updates to senior management through thorough evaluation, analysis, and reporting.
• Guiding financial decisions by aligning company policies with the current economic landscape.
• Developing and enforcing financial and contractual controls and guidelines.
• Achieving budgeting objectives through effective scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.
• Supporting the development of both short- and long-term operational strategies.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cost analysis for projects, oversee cash flow, and manage budgets.
• Administer and review contracts related to construction projects and bids, ensuring compliance with all terms and legal requirements.
• Manage finances for construction projects in collaboration with project managers.
• Oversee all HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws.
• Manage the bill payment process and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Safeguard company assets through robust internal controls and monitor organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
• Establish financial and operational benchmarks, setting program monitoring and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures, adhering to legal standards.
• Provide dynamic leadership to the accounting team, fostering an environment of trust and productivity.
• Review financial operations on QuickBooks and act as a liaison between company owners and external CPA firms.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  
  

Job-Requirements:

• A minimum of ten years of professional accounting experience.
• A minimum of three years working in the construction industry
• In-depth understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis.
• Experience in managing payroll and streamlining accounting processes.
• Proven track record of managing financial projects effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in a senior-level accounting or finance management role.
• Excellent command of English, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Online.
• Exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
