Job Summary
Shades of Light has a full-time opening available for a Team Lead in our Midlothian Distribution Center. We welcome you to come join our dedicated team of fulfillment professionals!
Assist in receiving-related processes and help receiving team members accomplish tasks that will optimize flow and ensure efficiency and accuracy
Job Requirements / Expectations :
- Be an example to all team members
- Direct team members as needed to maintain efficient flow
- Train new hires, provide supplemental training to seasoned team members, and actively report on progress as directed by manager
- Promptly communicate all potential service failures to receiving manager or shift supervisor
- Anticipate and communicate all employee grievances to receiving manager or shift supervisor
- Work with management to implement solutions and improvements to ensure quality, safety, and operating efficiency
- Direct team in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
- Process daily inventory updates
- Provide daily department status reports
- Assist in frontline job functions to maintain efficient workflow
- Clock a minimum of 40 hours per week and work overtime as needed
