We are looking for a responsible Accounting Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and account payables. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our accounting manager, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Administrative A/P and basic bookkepping. Assistant responsibilities include answering phones, assisting with all office duties working with accounts payable. Quickbooks experience a must. We will train the right person to continue to grow in the company. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Office and office equipment.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact list
- Help with A/P, and basic bookkeeping
- Provide general support to visitors
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients

- Skills
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in Quickbooks and MS Office
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturing and horse and livestock trailers a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
