Position Summary:
The Golf Cart Attendant plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to members and guests by ensuring golf carts are clean, staged, and properly maintained. This position is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of clubhouse facilities and assisting with driving range operations. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while supporting daily golf course operations.
Key Responsibilities:Golf Cart Operations:
- Clean and wash golf carts after each use, ensuring they are fully charged and in proper working condition.
- Stage golf carts for daily play according to club standards.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of golf carts, reporting any issues to management.
Member and Guest Services:
- Greet members and guests promptly, providing assistance with golf bags and loading carts.
- Offer information about course policies, tee times, and other club services.
- Ensure members and guests have a positive experience by providing courteous and professional service.
Facility Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness of the cart barn, staging areas, and surrounding facilities.
- Assist with trash removal, organization of storage areas, and upkeep of guest service areas.
Driving Range Upkeep:
- Set up and break down the driving range daily, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Collect and wash range balls regularly and restock ball dispensers.
- Maintain range equipment and report any maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of golf operations is a plus.
