Job Description :

As a PCA at Shady Lawn, you will :

  • Assist with Daily Activities : Help residents with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding while promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Provide Companionship : Offer emotional support and engage with residents to improve their overall quality of life.
  • Support Mobility : Assist residents with walking, transfers, and mobility devices as needed.
  • Maintain Cleanliness : Help with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Observe and Report : Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Work as a Team : Collaborate with nurses, and other staff to ensure personalized care for each resident.

    • Qualifications :

  • Previous experience as a PCA or in a similar caregiving role is a plus but not required.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing quality care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
