What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant position at Shafter Nursing and Rehabilitation?
- Must have an Active Certified Nurse Assistant Certification for the state of California and in good standing conditions
- No experience needed, will provide additional training if needed for new Certified Nursing Assistants
- Must be able to perform direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assists with promoting a compassionate physical and psycho social environment for residents
- Assist residents with ADL
- Provide good customer service to residents, family and guest who visit facility
- perform work safely by consistently using gait belts and lifts
- Provide input to nurses for developmental of the plan of care
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality patient information
- must be able to maintain regular attendance
- VS for charge nurses
- Turning and re-positioning residents
- Assisting residents with meals
- Must answer resident call lights
- Make residents bed
- provide good grooming to residents nail clipping if non diabetic, female resints hair nice and groomed, male residents provide shaving
