What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Administrative Assistant position at Shag Carpet Prop Rentals?
As a Shag Carpet Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales Account Managers with current and potential customers by determining their event decor needs, writing proposals, following up on proposals and custom task management. You also will be responsible for aiding the Sales Managers overseeing the completion of scheduled jobs.
Days: M-F 8:30 am - 5:30 pm with occasional overtime
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and work with callers to determine needs
- Create proposals in MAS 90 (ordering system) and assist with making changes to orders
- Coordinate with Sales Creative Assistant to match orders to creative proposals
- Assist sales manager with follow ups to finalize orders and get detailed load in information
- Assist sales manager with payment follow up
- Enter job details in Teamwork (project management application)
- Enter updated job details, diagrams, and information in Arrivy
- Run reports for sales managers as needed
- Cover for sales manager when they are out of the office
- Manage sales managers calendar for calls and site visits
- Some weekend/weeknight work will be required
- Role may be expanded to meet current company/team needs
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Work, Excel & PowerPoint
- Customer service experience
