Job Overview:
Shaggy’s on the Rez is looking for an experienced and charismatic Bartender to join our team! Our resort-style, waterfront restaurant offers a lively and welcoming atmosphere, and we need a skilled mixologist who can craft exceptional drinks, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages with consistency and quality.
- Provide a friendly, engaging, and professional experience for all guests at the bar.
- Take customer orders accurately and provide recommendations on drinks and food pairings.
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including proper stocking and inventory management.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including bar prep and cleaning.
- Work collaboratively with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay knowledgeable about new trends in mixology and beverage offerings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant or bar.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess required alcohol service certifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
