Pay Information: SHPL typically hires new staff in at the entry rate of the posted pay scale. Exceptions may be made for successful applicants who have significant (5 years) direct experience in the position at a level beyond what is expected of a new hire.
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Services Manager oversees the cleaning, maintenance, safety operations, grounds keeping and upkeep of equipment and supplies for the Main Library and Bertram Woods Branch. Supervises the maintenance and custodial staff.

Education:
Associates Degree, completion of a technical specialty program, or equivalent combination of experience and training related to building and grounds, maintenance operations, mechanical work, and preventative maintenance required.
Previous Experience and Training:
A minimum of three (3) years experience in maintenance and repair work with progressive levels of responsibility. Facility management and supervisory experience highly preferred. Must have a valid Ohio drivers license and be insurable under the librarys policy.
