What You’ll do: (summary of essential functions)
· Provide outstanding service by smiling, welcoming and acknowledging every Guest.
· Maintain solid product, promotions, advertisements and coupon knowledge, whether in person or interacting with a Guest on the telephone.
· Make quick decisions when Guest assistance is needed and make suggestions for additional products.
· Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper money handling and POS accountabilities.
· Adhere to all policies, procedures and ABC regulations involving alcohol service (sale, pricing and discounting).
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
- 1 year restaurant or retail experience in handling cash and customer service is preferred.
- Super-charged guest service skills.
- Respectful approach to guests and teammates.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, preferred.
- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Adaptable and willing to be trained in other areas of the restaurant.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Current CA Food Handlers card.
- High School education, High School diploma (or in process) or GED, preferred.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to elevate arms and shoulders in repetitive manner.
· Reaching, stooping, grasping, twisting, pinching, bending, pushing and pulling.
· Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
· Ability to work with restaurant equipment (knives, can openers, pots and pans, etc.)
· Work near hot pizza ovens or hot deep fryers.
· Ability to lift deep fryer basket from hot oil.
· Ability to work with cleaning solutions.
· Stand and walk for long periods of time.
